What's a good affordable analog bass synth

Question: How about an Evolver? Don't have one. That's why I'm asking, for my personal knowledge also.

Moog Source, hands down. You can't beat the sound for the $$$. Typically go for 700 to 800 bucks on Ebay. I own one, and had Moog Taurus One bass pedals. Closest sound to the Taurus that I know of. They are less expensive the a Moog LP, have more features, and can be upgraded to MIDI with additional patch memory if you looking for those capabilities. I don't have then MIDI on mine or a memory upgrade. I heard for a few "collectors" that any modifications to a vintage synth detracts from their value. A "Player" might not care, but a collector might.

How about a used ATC-X with all four filter cartridges, or a used SE-1...

i would choose atc-x over evolver, if you want deep and beefy bass.

Pro one or SH-101 are very good choices!

I got a pro one for $645 and I have never been happier with an instrument. It is very versatile and fantastic as a bass synth...I highly recommend it if your trying to stay in the 600-700 range and can find one for sale in that
