Simple quick question about Nord Lead 1

Is it worth buying one in perfect shape for $400 bucks out the door? I've read the Lead 1 sounds more analog due to something in the outputs.

I think that is a good deal. Even better if it has the version 2 upgrade install (12 voices instead of 4).

i say grab it. i have a lead 2, and its awesome. i hear the original lead sounds a little dirtier due to its lower bit converters, which is cool by me. id get it

ive got two nords (lead 2+modular) and ive never looked back. ive gone through so many synths, and the nords are the ones ive kept over the years.

i bought mine for $350 and had to repair an output jack, so $400 for one in perfect condition sounds about right. i love my nord, and i bet you will too.

I'd call it a safe buy because you can always sell it for that later on if you want to. And it's about as good as you can get in a VA for $400, so it makes sense sound-wise too.

It appeals a lot to me because I like the classic analog layouts of old boards and this board seems to mimick that pretty well.
