Guess the analogs

Post by sam » Thu Sep 20, 2007 5:44 pm

Ok...I know it's bad quality audio as it's from part of a show I am making at this moment.....Everything is played live.

There is 1 synth and stringer from the 70's.

Also the drum machine and phaser.

I know it's unfair...But go on.. :D

The synth sounds like either an Oberhiem SEM/OB-1 or some kind of CS....CS-30? Not sure about the Stringer.

The arpeggiated/sequenced line sounds Roland-ish to me...could it be the SH-5 or system 100/101?

Jupiter-4, CR-78, RS-101?

Btw, it's a cool tune. Aren't those the same three chords of Bauhaus' "Bela Lugosi Is Dead" though?

I will check out the bauhaus track, I had another reference to a joy division track..I suppose it's a nu wave thing... :D

The combination has not been found yet.....????

The phaser on the strings is a smallstone..BTW.
