That means that they will be cheaper once they are in stock at stores and you can ask they for their best price...since that $1299 is list. Not bad.

I doubt it...I don't see any huge discounts on other FR gear. All online dealers sell the Revolution for $699, which is the list price.

$1299 is still a few hundred less than I was expecting.
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I got my Revo for $650. Just because a place advertises $699, doesn't mean they will not go lower....you just have to ask. Just got a Moog LP for $1050 new as well...just by asking.

I sent in a request as well to be added to the pre-order list direct from future retro. How does this work though? The site says they will send you an e-mail or call you when one is available, but do they setup like a seniority list of who requested one first? Do you just pay when they call you? I know a few people have been on waiting lists before, so could someone shed some light? (on a side note, I dreamt about the XS all night long)

Finally. Looks really cool and the mp3 examples sound great!

Does anybody know, is it 3 rack units high? I would like to see a better pic of the front panel to know exactly what jacks and routings are available.

I see now, the specs page just got updated since last night. It's 4 rack units high.

Ok I got an e-mail back from Jered. He said that they will contact people in the order that they sent in the e-mails and that payment will be due when the unit is ready to ship. Just to let anybody else know who might have been wondering as well.
