Does FR usually make a lot of units for their synths? I wonder how many 777s and Revolutions were/are made?
I got a new Revo recently: SN 636 :) I'd say there would be less than 700.

I believe there were exactly 777 of the 777 made. Forgot where i heard that.

This page will answer your question (and has a lot of cool info and pics):
http://www.future-retro.com/HISTORY.html

Here's a quote:
"In 2003 production of the 777 models stopped. And we had built 678 units in all."

I really dig the blue face model pictured on that page. I wonder if the XS will pop up with different variations.

If this is directed at me...the XS doesn't have presets or patch storage, It is below the 8080 because The JP's cables come out of the top of the unit and the XS' come out of the front, so I have easy access to both units. As far as using it laying down, to be honest I did when I first got it, but I generally tweak it from a chair. And I haven't used the 8080 with the XS yet, I have been busy and only really had a lot of time to fiddle with them over the weekend, but I would like to try and make some youtube videos soon. :)
