Can't wait to start using the arpeggio. Im a big fan of apeggiators. Its about time i had a nice and raw sounding VCO Polysynth. I will never get rid of my CS-40M - its way too nice. Anyways i would only have to replace it with another Yammie.

I've been this close to getting one a couple times.... but I just got a bit scared thinking I'd get a lemon that doesn't like to be played live often ... since that's what I'd do with it..

So yeah .. congrats! finally! I feel your love/pain.

DON'T LET GO OF THE CS40m !!!

Are the oscillators fatter sounding than the jp6?

Do the filters oscillate really good like an the early sh-09 sh-2 etc.

Or does it oscillate like the Jup 6/Junos?

Anyone?

Is this the one on Sound on Sound that I tipped you off with by any chance? ;)

Either way I'm happy for you and we'll all be expecting a YouTube video in the future.

That's a Promars not a Jup-4

The following footage from Nov '81 shows Vince Clarke playing a Jup-4:

Note that by this time they'd replaced the Moog Prodigy with a Source

Congrats on the Jup-4, Analogue :-)

The filter is of the sh-2/sh1000 type and does self oscillate.

The whole thing sounds vintage...Not 'phat' as they say.

Sync up the appegio to an tr808 or CR-78.... :D

do not post 3 simultaneous threads about how you're about to get the jup4, how you've got the jup4, and how you've played and made demos of the jup4.. oh, and "how great is the jup4?"
Do you even post on vse bro?

AC.. I have never heard anyone bang on about one particular synth as much as you have with this obsessive J4 GAS. I only hope that you are not dissapointed with the results after finally getting your hands on one. Good luck with it dude! Looking forward to some photos.
