If you are planning on getting one, I would advise buying the emx instead. Its a newer version

I think it is a good synth for basslines...as long as you add some effects. Not big on it for leads though. It is worth the cash though....and can be used as an external sequencer for other midi synths.

Good. Worth the money.
Just don't expect too much out of it. My first synth, I also have the newer EMX-1, and don't plan on selling either.
Great for "acid" bass.

For how much it costs...just buy it. If you don't like it, sell it. You really will not lose out.

It's so cheap and simple .. and has a sequencer! Can't hurt!

As for the ER-1 ... waste of space ,,

2, monophonic.
It's an excellent synth for the money, by the way, though very limiting if you don't have things that do what it can't.

I don't know- I've had a lot of fun with it. But I can't say I have much experience with better drum machines...

It's okay. Not great, but not all that bad in the end. It is what it is.

EA-1 is pretty fun but it is important to note that it has not ADSR envelope or LFO. It does, however, have a D envelope and a flanger. The Delay is the most useful part.

It's pretty cool if you don't overpay. For me it added some good stuff to my setup. Namely a sequencer and filter with an input.

Funny, I feel exactly the other way around. I just hate EA and everything in it.

Hm, I don't know. If you're just controlling something external it makes a nice cheap way of having x0x sequencing.
