There is a DX200 I have my eye on at my local "Hard off" store. $140. I am not sure if thats a bargain or not. The specs are what I am looking for and the demo's I have heard are nice.[/quote]

Good price for sure...grab it.

considering i paid around $600 for my dx200 (new, many years ago) i'd say buy it. it's a great machine. i sold mine however to fund other stuff (for about $250).

If I saw one for $140 I'd snatch it up[DX200]. I'm planning to spend up to $300 on one.

I want one badly.

You mean the NEXT Space Bass
grrrrr...thats what i get for typing when i should be sleeping. i meant the Bass Station, but to be honest, the NEXT Space Bass 3.3 would do the trick. i just sold my NEXT due to me getting the Bass Station Rack (and finding it a much better sounding synth).

I've got a F.A.T. FB383, Bass-station (key and rack), Super B-Station all on the same rack + a EA-1.

Never had a TB303 to compare....but as said before any of the above synths do far more than a TB.

The EA-1 can do a lot more then a 303, has a wider range of sounds, and is a better synth box in every way. I've been using my EA-1 for almost a year now, and use it on every track I make. I love it to death, and for the price [200 new] I don't think anything can beat it.

I still want a DX-200 tho. :D

That seems like a pretty good price, probably paid $250 for mine. The DX200 has a lot going under the hood once you get it working with the software editor. don't be fooled by its groove box stylings, it has a very powerful synth engine..
