Do you still have your first synth?

I sold it, but then bought it again.

Who here still has thier first synth? Would you have sold it by now if it wasn't your first? If you did sell it, do you miss it? Did you end up replacing it? Oh yeah, and what was it?

Just curious.
so what do I put down here now?

Mine was the ESQ-1. It broke so I bought another one...I'm thinking of selling it though. It's envelopes are pretty much useless.

Oh, btw. My first synth was my Roland HS-60. I still have it. I probably wouldn't still have it if it weren't for the nostalgia and the fact that I developed "my sound" around it. It's just really big for the simple sounds it makes. Don't get me wrong, I love it. But I probably would have tried to get something cheaper, more complex, and maybe smaller by now.

Can't wait to hear about yours. I think this is really interesting because you buy first synth before you have a bunch of synth knowledge.
so what do I put down here now?

it just seems to sound better with age, no matter what i put next to it.

so it's a keeper. 8)

Traded my K1 II to a CS10 back in 1997. Do I regret it?

Yuppers! Still have the old Mono/Poly. Doubt it I'll ever get rid of it, except if it breaks and I have to buy a new one.

Yes, Still have the SH-101 I bought new in 1984.

I didn't sell it years ago because it wasn't worth it. Later I forgot all about it, then couldn't find it. Finally found it again this year and now realise its value, so will not be selling it. As its been neglected and lonely all these years i got it a 606 for companionship. They seem to be getting along nicely.

My first synth was a Minimoog reissue and I sold it earlier this year, replacing it with a Little Phatty Stage. I haven't missed it as the LP does everything that the Mini did for me, barring the obvious 3-osc sounds.
I didn't get where I am today by posting on internet forums.

At this moment, I still have the Mini-Korg, but it will probably be gone in 6 days.

It's on eBay, regrettably.

All my original synths were lost in a house fire 3 years ago, but my first was a Korg 01/Wfd.
