Who's getting?

Post by TX81ZJH » Fri Dec 21, 2007 1:02 am

Anyone getting a new synth (vintage, or new) for Christmas?

I'm getting a new synth/keyboard, I don't know what type it is yet, my father picked it out I believe. He is a professional Organist so he knows what to buy. :D

Anyone else getting something new synth wise?

I bought myself a moog LP and a memory man pedal over the last month. I guess you could call them x-mas gifts to myself. Not nearly as fun as getting someone else to pay for it though

I *did* have plans, but they had to be put on hold...

The evolver will have to wait for now , but I did treat myself to the Phoscyon soft synth. And I'll be getting the new Oxygene DVD too, which is ummm, kinda like getting a load of vintage gear.... isn't it?

I'm pretty sure I'm getting a new softsynth for christmas... Cakewalk Rapture. That thing is intense in it's selection of weird waveforms and DSP transforms.

My Christmas present this year will consist of a Mono/Poly (traded for with my JD-800), a decent soldering iron and a Moog t-shirt.

That's more than enough to make me happy. :)

I will probably be selling my x0xb0x to pay rent this christmas, uni holidays means no pay for me. I suppose the MEK can be an early christmas present to myself.

No more hardware for me for sometime. My room is crowded with what I have now. Saying that, I'm sure I'll say "screw it" and get a Blofeld this coming May.

With my academic discounts, a Live 7 upgrade & Logic Studio are ridiculously cheap, so I may be tempted to look into one of those if I receive $ for Christmas. I'm leaning more towards Logic since it already comes with a lot of instruments and jam packs, saving me the extra expense of additional VST's for a while, although I do fancy the Virtual String Machine.

No cash left, nor expecting to get any, so a EHX Small Stone pedal for xmas and off I go. Heartfelt season's greetings to you all.
