Thanks, I think it's amazing! First new synth i've ever owned, Some incredible presets, a very complex synth, and quite a 'hard' sound, which I like.Joey wrote:
Beautiful synth, how do you like it?

my recent Monomachine MKII was supposed to be a birthday present in August, but since it just came in this month, it's sort of a pseudo-Christmas present from my wife. other than that, i've not asked for any synth stuff for Christmas. after i sell about 5-6 pieces from my studio next month, i'm going to invest in a new mixer, and possibly a new monitor/subwoofer combo. i did ask for a new center channel for our home theater, so that's sort of audio-related.

Maybe, you better see to it that itis a microKorg. That thing is so underrated.
Yeah, anyone that calls the MK a toy should get hit with a Korg PS-3300, IMHO.
The MK is a toy.
For Sale: Korg PS-3300, never gigged but has a slight dent in the case.![]()

Nice. Looks like one of those old ladies who keep the plastic on their furniture.

I got a Moog VX-351 for early Christmas from the wife. My mother in law gave us cash, and I used this towards a pile of MOTM modules to start a new modular.

Congrats on the modular synth decision btw, MOTM is great kit but too pricey for me.synthetic88 wrote: Nice. Looks like one of those old ladies who keep the plastic on their furniture.![]()

My ancient OBX got 2 voice card replacements. It was a great gift as I have searched for these for 2 years.
My old ones drift way too much and have been shipped off for re-furbishing. The 2 new cards actually sound better, as they have had little use.

I got a DX7 for Christmas. At first I was a bit wary because I've only used analogs before, but I've got a few weeks free before I go back to school so I plan to take a lot of time learning how it works and how to program it. Should be fun.

Yesterday before running out the door to attend to in-law Christmas h**l I tossed a bid on eBay on a pair of Juno-106es. I won. One supposedly is in good condition and the other is a fixer-upper. I intend to fix it up and resell it, probably both of them, since my wife doesn't want any more synths in the house. But at least I'll have some vintage analog for a little bit anyway...

I didn't get any synths, but my mom and dad got me Cubase4, a really nice, new condenser mic, and an audio to midi converter box. My grandma gave me $250 towards a new synth!
