Blargh.
In some other (German) forum we have a simple game:
You try to stay 'in' as long as possible, and you lose (= are out) when you hear that song. Of course you have to be honest and admit it when you got whammed.
That song makes me turn off the radio in under a second, really ;) .

Don't forget to TURN ON THE SYNTHESIZER. Often this is the reason why you get no sound out of it. - ARP 2600 manual, 1971

Okay...I think if this is going to be perennially resurrected, whoever does said resurrection-ing should have to post their own cover of the song for all of us to critique. THAT would make it simply a wonderful Christmas time...
Got a MIDI file? :D

Ok, you asked for it... I know I'm not the ressurector-whatever. Here's a version I recorded with my wife about 10 years ago. Everything is Juno-106, except "echo guitar" and "sax solo" which are Yamaha V50, and also real sleigh bells. Nothing sequenced, everything played.

 6 pages of moaning and deriding McCartney's xmas single. He's probably made more money and sales from that single than you lot have ever made in your entire lives.

Oh well, young mr Bieber is the richest artist on the planet, but we're still entitled to criticize his "music", aren't we? ;)

Haha. Awesome. Must...have...more!

There's a preset on the microkorg in the "retro" section that nails the patch pretty well...
