So this is essentially what is to become the Prophet 5 lover thread, right?

Great sound bytes, loved them!

Prophets are a great sounding ploysynth that you could easily do a whole album on.

Was lucky enough to have a fiddle on a Prophet 10 last weekend! 8)

God, the Prophet 08 sounds nothing like that. Can't beat the original.

'Twasn't envisaged as a p5 replica to begin with, though ~ it's a different synth.
The lot.

Oh I know, I'm just pointing out that the old chips sound so much more lively than the new ones. There's a lot of meat in the Prophet 5, that isn't apparent in the 08's overall tonal characteristics.

~obviously more 'size' and space with the P5, but equally the P8 actually sounds punchier and more aggressive to me.

Guys, please avoid the tiresome P5 vs P8 comparisons, eh?
We have half a dozen threads about that already.

On topic:

How was the polymod settings on the Polymod pad? (second from the top)? I usually only used it to make ringmod sounds.

Great demos man,

you have once again rekindled my prophet GAS
No one cares, no one sympathizes,
so you just stay home and play synthesizers.
