The Macbeth page claims the X-Factor will be represented in one form or another at NAMM, but otherwise I haven't heard anything.

I cant wait to see what is there. It better be a big year. If nothing good is announced I will be sad since I actually am going this year. But I only get to go one day because I have to work the rest of the days.

I wonder if this will be the year that Roland and Korg don't bother with a groovebox type device.

This may be the year where the big manufacturers finally give way to software. I wouldn't expect to see much except minor revisions to their workstations.

Triton Ultra-Mega-Extreme+++ w/ AWESOMEGROOVE technology

If we're lucky, maybe we'll get the ROLAND PROMARS 2000: a 64-key "groove synth" with the Fantom waveform ROM's run through the SH-201 VA filter

meh. I don't know why I'm cynical right now. Forgive me.

Since SmartMedia cards are discontinued, surely Korg will have an updated Electribe.

I was hoping for the Korg ESX-1 MKII with CF Cards last year... it seemed like an obvious move at the time.

Moog Polyphonic ? New Roland Workstation ? New Korg Übersynth ?

Makes nothing...i'm a poor man. Have no money left.

..I'd get such a machine... I mean, what were they thinking with the smarmedia-cards? I love my ESX to death, and I fear it will forever be dominated by my MC808 because of the 10000 times better storage..

an ESX with CF cards would certainly make my day :)

The Roland booth will make me laugh again, just as it has for the past few years.
