Can a TR-707?

Post by Uncle Screwtape » Wed Jan 09, 2008 3:27 pm

Can you edit while a pattern is running like an 808 or 909 can?

Example For Those Unsure What I Mean

Is there anything else with MIDI and possibly even sampling that can be used in this same way?

yes, that is the standard x0x programming interface. Pretty much any drum machine with that type of interface will do the same thing (i.e. Krog Er-1)

unfortunately the 707 808 and 909 lack the feature of the 606 where you can switch between write and pattern mode when the machine is running  its pretty nice
