No, they don't. Amazona makes a wild guess at the price, too ("Wir tippen der Preis" means "we guess the price is") - I trust Gearjunkies more since they are supposed to have good contacts with Access (they were the first with the Virus TI back in the day, too).

I haven't heard anyone stick up for the rumored price anywhere on the net. I wonder if Access is monitoring that?

I can't believe I've gotten GAS for a Virus... It just occured to me, that a TI would be a great gigging board / module with it's multi-timbrality, effects and tap tempo capability. Too bad the vocoder is apparently teh pants.

So are we going back to the dark ages of the 80s when knobless synths ruled the earth?

As an engineer I know dumping the controls lets Access get the price lower for Snow but isn't one of the primary attractions of VAs the knobs? Thinking about all the people who complained about the limited knobs of the desktop Evolver and AN1x...
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.
