Is the ugly camo korg a workstation? Im thinking it has to be b/c camo is only going to be marketable to the rap hop beat makers. and when the desert camo version is released we can start playing shows in iraq. yeah. I agree that the Linndrum II and Vox get me the most excited. I can get by with my farfisa but that linndrum damnit. I want one.

It's a rompler synth based on the Triton architecture, but it doesn't have a built-in sequencer or sampling like a true workstation. The X50 itself isn't a new product, just this "ugly camo edition".

I hope it's analogue, like the Continental, and not just samples or physical modelling.

I mean if there's already a new Rhodes and Mellotron I guess there's a glimmer of hope.

Don't be way over priced. The guy said it would be over 3 grand. It also only has a max polyphony of 32 notes. I mean the idea is cool but not worth over 1800 at all. There also coming out with a origin with a keyboard. Even more money. It was a cool unit but total waste of money to anyone who buys it.

The XR20 was cool for a non sampler drum machine. Liked it more than the alesis.

Looking at the buttons, a data wheel and what looks like a display to the right of the drawbars, I'd guess that it will be physical modelling like the Clavia C1.

It would be completely fantastic if it was analogue and no mistake!
I didn't get where I am today by posting on internet forums.

Ach, I missed that. Well hopefully it'll be faithful to the original at the very least.

Damn right it would. 8)
