haha that'll look great on a business card

actually my wife suggested i should make a few of these and other designs for sale.

my next project is gonna a simlar cradle for my jomox m-base01 and then some wood end pieces for my jx3p, and maybe for my LP stage edition too. wood just looks so much nicer on synths, than plastic

i'll be sure to post pix of those as soon as they're done too

Definitely; I was thing about doing the same with the Ion. Mahogany ends; then again that'd take away from the "futuristic" look.

Thats very nice, I'm using a bookstand to support me rm1x but this looks much better, almost like one of the old analogue synths

It really looks great like that! by function or aesthetically. It's a bit suprising that such a modern looking drum machine, looking fantastic with a touch of woods. Also, the wood type and color selection really fit well with the synth. great work!

Nice work, it looks very neatly done, altho; and please don't take this as a criticism cos it's not.

I like the industrial look of my MD and i think nice wood panels would severely soften that.

i've recieved a few requests to build some of these cradles for other VSE members. i'll have some more info [ie. price] that i'll post later today if anyone else would like one for their machinedrum [mk1] or monomachine [mk1]
