A friend of mine actually found a Minimoog at a thrift store here in Texas for $15 ! It was apparently beat to h**l and non-functioning, but a Minimoog none the less!

Flea markets and thrift stores are sometimes worth stopping at, though, even these days. In the fairly recent past, I've found an Octave Cat for $30 and a Maestro Phaser for $5 at a flea market, and a friend found an MS-20 for $50 at another. And another guy I know found a MultiMoog for $75. Not bad!

I heard my favorite "thrift store find" story a few years back about a guy who found a TB-303 at the local Goodwill (a chain of 2nd hand stores here in the USA, for those who aren't familiar) with a tag on it that said "Broken radio.....$10"
