Ok ok fine fine! I'm sorry this has taken soooo longnadafarms wrote:I just wish somebody in the space time continuum would post some demos actually showing the different sounds of the 888 rather than a repeating single pattern/kit.

I just demo'ed the kick. I need someone to host it though. It is a 66MB wav file. It is about two minutes long. It was recorded at 24/96 through my onyx - no eq & no fx.
I ran through all parameters via midi automation in cubase. For the majority of the demo I left the tune, gate (at its shortest), decay (at its maximum), and attack (at its shortest) constant. As the Kick has "10" configurable parameters I was only able to tweak a several parameters at a time given the fact that I didn't want to spend more than an hour doing this.... The last 8 seconds consist of all parameters being tweaked pseudo-randomly.
It starts off with the Tune parameter being modified. Shortly after that there is a decay sweep, followed by a pitch sweep, then a tune & pitch sweep, then..... well, I don't remember what I did for the rest

If someone doesn't mind hosting these demos then I'll be glad to work through the rest of the analog instruments. Whoever does this can convert them to mp3 if so desired. (I'm not going to demo the samples, because... they are samples - you can load whatever you want).
