looks cool, but would be even cooler if it were 19" rackmountable

even better, and seems to work out cheaper than a standard 10-module 3U Doepfer system.

Dual ADSR = 99,- euro

Dual LFO = 129,- euro

Mixer OSC = 39,- euro

Midi/CV = 79,- euro

VCA = 69,- euro

24db VCF = 79,- euro

OSC I = 159,- euro

OSC II = 199,- euro

Total = 859,- euro or £657.91 or $1,324.31 of course rackcase not included, but still works out half the price of a standard doepfer system.

wow.. sweet... a semi-modular mono that's affordable is right up my street.. the price is right... maybe it'll get a little cheaper when it reaches these shores?

wish you could see a closeup :?

it looks like they just cobbled several of the modular panels together... hence the excessive "MFBs" all over the place! :o

whatever... anyone else know of a true semi-modular mono in that format that costs less than $1000? :P

(um, ok paia fatman, but only if you do the modding yourself...)

oh, and the redsquare... well, that's still more expensive... hmm.

know some people have whined about MFB gear's structural quality, and granted they're using plastic housings instead of metal, but putting my synth II next to a x0xb0x built by a pro at moog, the MFB tops it. housing is sturdier, buttons are more stable. dropping a x0x would be terrifying. could toss the MFB across the room and it wouldn't worry me. just thought i'd toss that comparison...you know...instead of either synth!

ooo, exciting!
Moog LP + Casio SK1 and MT-75 + tube amp = good tone.

So it's basically MFB modules put into an MFB Synth-style case then?

I'm still getting it though, even if it'll just be an MFB Synth II with modular capabilites.

You still need a case or you won't have power for any of them.
