Clavia Nord Lead Anniversary Model

Post by Synthprophet » Thu Mar 13, 2008 4:59 pm

A limited edition of the Clavia Nordlead Anniversary Model has been announced by Clavia. There will be made a total of 299 units. However it's just a Nord Lead 2x with reverse coloured keys and another colour layout.

that actually looks pretty damn cool and works for some reason but totally not worth the money they are probably going to charge.

Bleh. The old one looks better. The inverted keys just looks totally gimmicky.

red and white keys maybe? red and black?

they should've done the body white or something instead.

i think this looks bad and forced.

It looks decent in that photo, but I think it looks pretty hideous in this video:

Moog Voyager Electric Blue, DSI Polyevolver, Virus TI Polar, Novation KS4

I like it - red keyboards with inverse keys look rather fetching in my book.

A pity they didn't extend the keyboard to 61 notes, to make it a really special edition.
I didn't get where I am today by posting on internet forums.

I think it looks funky and cool. The reversed keys is a good match to the red casing. I won't change my current 2x with it though. I wonder how expensive it will be.

Reversed key Microkorg.... Reversed Key Nord Lead... watch out Roland at summer Namm with their inverted key SH-201, Inverted key Fantom X.

I agree, red keys and a white case would have been killer !

Reversed keys on the C1 would have made sense... seems like everyone wants to be Vox these days...

I'm officially sick of these "Anniversary" or otherwise "Limited Edish" synths that differ in no way from its brother except it has inverted keys. Lame, lame lame. This took no thought on their part at all. Boo, and a hiss for good measure.

I think it looks great. It is definitely the nicest reverse keys synth to come out in years.

i like reverse keys just fine, but these retreads are getting lame. first Korg and now Clavia?

I think it works for the mK, but somehow doesn't do it for me in the slightest with the Nord here.

I think the opposite. The black keys just don't fit into the green/brown colour of the MK. But that's a matter of taste I guess.
