Intelligent keyboard eh? does that mean if I press one key, it will make all of my music for me? lol.

Looks like's Rolands version of the PCM Casio keyboards, does it do anything cool?

Yeah.I thought that the Intelligent Keyboard thing was funny too.
I have just spent about an hour playing so far. It sounds decent I was messing around with the chord memory and the split mode.So far I have just used the internal speakers.I should hook it up to my sound system.
It has a TR808 kit in it I hope that the kick thumps on the system.

It could be related to the MT-32

hmm? Thats intersting I still think it's kinda weird that i can't find much of any thing on it online. There must not have been many made or something. It's not realy as powerful a most rolands.
I just thought that it looked kinda unique for what it is.

I own a Roland E-28 and I think they are made in Italy for the European market only.

*add* Roland took over SIEL in '87 and they make the E series

Nah, the Roland arrangers sell in North America too. One of the local shops has a EXR-46 iOR in stock at the moment. Whether they'll ever sell it is another question.

Addenda: Here's an example of a Roland E5 circuit bent by Mike Walters.

I was kinda wondering what one of these are worth.
I paid $40 for the board with power supply and $3 for a soft case.
I bought it cause i never saw a roland quite like this.
I've got a collection of keyboards ,synths and drummachines bulit up and I think that this was a good peice to add to it.

it would at least make a nice midi file player. I kinda like early Roland's rompler, specially to play those old midi files. It would make a nice budget sound canvas type of synth.
