I like these. I've been considering buying the kit version for a while now. I just don't know if I'll have the time to put it together.

That looks cool. I'm getting into a DIY kick so I think I might grab both kits and build them this summer. Thanks for the link. I can build this while I wait another 8 months for an xoxbox kit.

By the way the guy behind these things is pretty friendly. He answered my questions in about an hour from the time I sent him an email.

I just bought the sequencer kit today! Well, actually my wife surprised me this morning and bought it for me. :)

I built the sequencer in 6 or 7 hours. I'm a novice DIY'er so if I can do it everyone should be able to. It's a lot of fun to mess around with. The only issue I have with it is the gate. You can see my discussion with one of the VOS guys here > http://www.curiousinventor.com/forums/7/threads/87

If you're building the kit right now, there is a typo in the wiring diagram - the clock on/off switch should go to J12 not J16.

I haven't had any luck clocking it with my Mobius but I was able to clock it with my Pro One.

I highly recommend this especially if you want to try your hands at building.

Hopefully someone will come up with some great mods.

Sorry to say it, but there are no more x0xb0x kits ever. :(

I wondered if, I could hook this saturn thing up with my cs-10, because of the cv inputs? Then I would have a 3 osc mono synth for around no money, that could be fun!

I have both the synth and sequencer. I've been able to control the VOS Synth, a Yamaha CS5 and my Electrocomp-101 with the Sequencer. I've also been able to control the VOS Synth with my Kenton Pro-2000.

I will post some videos and sound samples later this week.
