I got a Korg 05r/w for 30 Swiss Francs and sold it on E-Bay for 260. With the money I bought myself a Yamaha AN1x (I found one for 200) and kept the other 30 Francs.

I am borrowing a MS 10 from a Friend, he got it for 100 Francs (guess I won't be able to make him sell it to me for that price).
Good programming is worth more than the most expensive synthesizer.

It's a tie between a Roland SH-2000 and a Yamaha DX-21 for $100 each. I still have the DX-21, but somehow I managed to lose my SH-2000.:crybaby: It was at my buddy's house in Bellville Illinois, but he moved and now he says he can't find it. :banghead: I have moved 3 times since I seen it last. It was in a homemade case and had one broken voice tab. I fear it's gone forever. It was a great lead monosynth. I loved the growl effect.
A bird can sing; and a beast can roar; but neither can do both.

Roland Alpha-Juno 1 for $150
Ensoniq TS10 for $250 (later sold it on eBay for $1000!!)
Korg DW6000 $100
Korg Poly61 $100
Yamaha TX81Z and FB01 was free, along with some other cool rackmount gear (got it all from the electronics department at my high school, they didn't have any use for it.)
Waveforms, and filters, and knobs. Oh my!

I got my Juno 106 4 or 5 years ago for $160, not sure if thats very good or not.

Today, however, i got a Roland R-8 MKII with the electronic card and the manual for $45. Thats a pretty damn good deal.

Waldorf Blofeld for 380 euros.

Now that I think of it, I did own Korg ER-1, which cost about 250e when you take into account currency inflation.

I got a Yamaha DX-21 at a thrift store for $3 a couple of weeks ago (it was at a goodwill where you buy by the pound). A juno 106 for $250 with a hardshell case and no dead voice chips. And a JX-3P for $130 shipped.

i got a roland s-10 for free. came with a briefcase full o sample disks, even. guy gave it away as he didn't have a power chord. i've got the alpha juno, so same chord. plus they're only a couple bucks on ebay.

turned out not to be a deal, tho. turned out power came on once and it didn't work after that.

...because it was infested with cockroaches.

...so was the briefcase.
