Jealous!
Moog LP + Casio SK1 and MT-75 + tube amp = good tone.

I picked p my Yamahh CS-50 for $150.00 in 1992 or so and my MiniMoog set me back $250.00 last year.

My Korg Electribe and MicroKorg were around $100.00 each and the Roland TR-808 was $250.00 last year as well.

I am still looking for a TB 303 and a 1929 RCA theremin in the thrift stores and flea markets....

vespiz wrote:Hi everyone! My first post here, long-time lurker..

Cheapest I got was a Roland RS-505 for free (plus a WLM Hit, but that's an organ).
An SH-2000 for €160 was also cheap in my world.
nothin wrong with being a lurker, and cool deal on both pieces of equipment, theres a dude here in KC with a XP-10 and another Roland Synth wanting 300.00 for the whole enchilada, but idk lol. But an RS-505 as a freebie is still one helluva a deal lol. Thanks for looking at the thread dude,

I'm on the opposite end of the scale.. my brand new Microkorg cost $1100 (yes that't right) new from the stode some four or five years ago...

There are just NO deals like this to be made anywhere around where I live. no pawn shops, no second hand electronics stores, no flea markets no NOTHING but hard work and premium prices. damn you all!!!

Norway :) however, that was when it was brand new (and still like $500 in the USA). I've bought everything else I own from the bay.. the 4-year old demo model EMX is still ca $600 at my local shop, any lower and it's a loss on their side :p no idea how the local shops survive in this day and age..

This past February, I was given a Prophet 5 rev.3.3 and an Emulator 1, in pretty bad shape but now the P5 works. They also have Anvil road cases and belonged to Liberace or were part of his show.
