Don't throw things at me but I got a perfect conditioned Juno 60 and MD-8 for 100 dollars yesterday. A friend insisted on selling it for that much as that's what he paid for it back in the day. I'd been hoping for one to come up locally forever so it worked out.

From some sort of pawn shop on eBay. It's not in great condition but it has the Sycologic V2 expansion board installed!

My cheapest synth was my Korg Monotron, but that doesn't really count, yeah? About five years ago I got a DW-8000 for $100. Unfortunately, I didn't really know what to do with it at the time and sold it not too long after. I'm now willing to admit that that was a mistake.

Roland CM-32P for £11.50. It's the computer music version of a U110/U220. I bought it as a taster then got hold of a U220 which despite having more samples doesn't sound as sweet as the CM-32P, odd.

Just picked up a CZ-1 for $70. It has an intermittent output problem. Sometimes the output cuts in and out. I'm wondering if it's a loose wire or something.

I found a spinet piano outside of a broken-down church. It was horribly out of tune. Somehow I managed to get it into the doorway, where it likely remains to this day (I didn't take it with me when I moved out of the apartment). Did you know that even small pianos weigh like 500 pounds? And that they only make ONE sound? And they don't even do MIDI-out?

But it was free, and that's what matters.

wow, some really great stories.

As for me :
Crumar Performer at a rainy car boot sale in the early 90s for £2, still not 100% ok but sounds incredible.
Yamaha cs30 - $80
but cheapest must be an ms20 for free. :)
I hope everyone get lucky too
