well, hopefully nothing exciting is realeased, as then I'm bound to want even more stuff than I already do.
other than that, Korg ought to show some kind of electribe that isn't just another re-make of the old ones. I'm sure I've said this a million times allready, but an ESX with CF cards, expanded memory and better resolution would make me sell something for funds for sure

hoping korg announces a hardware based midi sequencer similar to monome, etc. or a midi groove box/sequencer decked out w. features like an rs7000.. but minus any built in sounds or synthesis (to keep the price low). i'd also like to see a new esx with more machinedrum-type features, such as assignable part types (instead of statically defined) and more fx.
otherwise, i just hope to see more synths and fewer workstations from all the companies.

I'd like to see Korg follow through with a re-issue of the Vox Continental organ with some modern updates.
Roland should come out with a Jupiter 16 incorporating all the features of the Jupiter 8/6, MKS80, and more.
It would be awesome if Yamaha came out with a modern CS-80 lighter in weight and smaller in size than the original.
A lighter weight, more reliable Memorymoog would be great to see.
Nord should do a Vox/Farfisa Combo organ emulator in a smaller, lower cost version.
Dave Smith could do a quality re-issue of the Pro-One.

Because he wants to split his MEK target market while increasing his R&D, tooling, marketing and production costs without seeing any extra sales. The only options here that are remotely likely are theV301H wrote:I'd like to see Korg follow through with a re-issue of the Vox Continental organ with some modern updates.

Damn well better be multi-timbralStab Frenzy wrote:Like most people I want Roland to re-release the JP-8, fully analogue but with midi for under $2000. Ditto Moog and the Memorymoog+.
I'll then complain that they aren't as good as the originals, because they sound is too clean but somehow not three dimensional.

Damn straight! And if you pre-order now it'll come with the re-issued TB-303 with metal case and USB uplink, usual RRP $299.neandrewthal wrote:Damn well better be multi-timbralStab Frenzy wrote:Like most people I want Roland to re-release the JP-8, fully analogue but with midi for under $2000. I want to see that Moog Drum Machine I keep making up, plus a new polymoog, or a poly voyager OS (start saving)...
Some new Moogerfoogers, Linndrum 3, A roland Jupiter 12, Some Balloon animals, The reissued TR 808 (release date 8th of august), A preview of next years 909 (release date September 9th), and a product from elektron that isnt a T-shirt.
On a more serious note, I would like to see a (preferably analog) monosynth with a sequencer similar to the korg EA 1.
Something that can be more than a TB 303 imitation.
Although I think Im just gonna buy an XS
