Got myself a ARP 2600..

Post by sam » Fri Jul 04, 2008 3:54 pm

After many years i got one.

It sounds great and has the moog filter.

But i need to know something.

It's a grey version but has the tonus badge...Not the clef i always see around.

Would this be an early version...?

It is an early one! You either have a 2600P version one, or two.
What is the serial number?

In any case, that is fantastically cool! Congratulations!

I have waited many years for this chance and traded some much loved gear.

The bottom end shakes the windows.

Different than my odyssey, The filter is wonderful.

I need to get into it now..

Well, the cartoonist isn't exactly clear whether the keyboard being used is the 3604 or the 3620... it the cartoonist meant to portray the 3620, the 2600 is duophonic. : )

Mmmmmmm..... I'd love a 2600. I'd have to sell half my stuff though. And some furniture.

AG, how're you getting on with your CS vs MS theory? I've been expecting the thread for days...

Nice! I am jealous. What synths you sell to get the 2600?
