I just found a paper copy that still has the soft discs enclosed in the spine!

they're awesome books, I used the first book to learn the ins and outs of my DX7S, even though the menues are not exactly the same. I got an LP sheet record with sound examples, but all the examples are step-by-step exercises in the book so you will make them yourself anyway. I found mine on eBay for $50

I'm pretty sure I have the mp3s at home but I am abroad at the moment. I'll be back in the UK on 8th Aug if you're happy to wait.

I've just bought the Howard Massey "The Complete DX7II" book, and would like to get hold of the soundsheets in file format such as MP3 so that I can use them along side the book.

Does anyone have them, and could they upload a copy please?

MkII version if possible. Otherwise Mk1 would be great too.

Cheers,

Ok... Does that mean you have the sounds and can help?

Cheers.

I've not come across the soundsheets for The Complete DX7II, but here are the soundsheets for the first book:

Many thanks and much appreciated.

There are a few missing from this set, I expect to do with features on the DX7IID which are not available on the Mk1, so I will keep hunting for the IID soundsheet set.

Cheers.

Many thanks.

This still appears to be the DX7 soundsheets and not the DX7IID soundsheets. There are some extra sounds referenced in the DX7IID book, and these are the files I have not yet been able to find.

I would have considered selling my original copy of the book with the 3 soft discs still included inside, but since someone here shared a PDF version (most likely a copyright violation, BTW), I guess I'm out of luck!

I have a copy of the actual DX7 IID book already in as new condition. What I don’t have is the sound disks or MP3’s for the DX7 IID version of the book.

If you have the three IID sound disks, maybe you could record the three disks into 3 long wav/mp3 files for me if you have the facilities. I’m quite happy to split them up myself.

Or I could record them to file for you if you wish.
