just out of curiosity, do you know what gear they used on the album, in perticular the synths on "Hollow Sky"? that jam is astounding!

i saw them live and they didn't use any synths, only bass guitar, the rest was going from laptop, and there was no playing softsynths neither. mat sang and moved great, though. i don't know which synths he used on white light, but i think 90% of their character came from external overdrives, distortion and similar fx. his only synth i recognised was on his previous album [ultrasex] and it was er-1 [preset patterns].

yeah mount sims isnt much of a programmer, i'm pretty sure 90% of his stuff could be done on a microkorg or comparable software synth....
he uses the smae 3 patches in every song anyway
