Hey Everyone:

I've scanned a bunch of new (old?) Moog literature on my Flickr site.

Enjoy!

Hey Esus,
Thanks much for the pics. The one labled Emerson Moog is like finding
the rosetta stone. Haven't had much luck getting that classic
Emerson patch on my Moog. For some reason it was just missing something?
The key is in the patch of that photo you uploaded. 3 saw waves
into the CP3 mixer, into the 905 Reverb first, then patched into
the 904a filter.
And there it is! My Moog is patched that way right now.
There is an article in SOS about using reverbs this way:
http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/feb01/a ... ecrets.asp

This is why I never get tired of playing synthesizers. There is
always something new/different you can experement with!

Glad to be of help.
As a fellow Moog modular owner, I'm glad you found a practical use for the photo.
I'm also very impressed with the mp3s you've been posting--very near and dear to my sequenced heart :D
I think the 905 adds the most to the "Emerson" sound--the "springy" tank reverb sound on the Trilogy solo in particular.
