im pretty sure, at this day n age, its gonna be Flash ROM, like Nord Wave has. it would be pretty stupid to add a plain ol' ROMpler capability.
what im not as sure, but am hoping for, there will be a way (via pc/mac editor) to create your own user wavetables, and that these too can be stored in those 60Gb. that shouldn't be a problem considering how miniscule are the memory requirements for this - measured in kilobytes. with onboard storage of user wavetable sets, we could have completely different wavetables for
every patch, if we wanted too. now that would be one serious breakthru compared to all previous waldorfs/ppgs.
if this is not vaporware like stromberg/zarenbourg, and they have it out in the market within months, im so getting one. haven't been this excited about a digital synth in a long while.
