I don't even care what this product is clearly the fact that is has 24 pages of inane chatter dedicated to it must mean it's ground breaking... kind of like the P08... remember that? or the mopho.... Except in this case, it took us 19? pages to actually figure that out...

No doubt these 2 will make a great combo.

So next is something like the Moog CP-251 for it?

You have to admit that looks sharp.

that's odd; they don't match, color-wise. also odd that they're only MIDI'd in that pic. does the XS interpret FR's glide over MIDI correctly? seems like you'd want to show it CV'd up.

yeah, they do look good together. But clearly a cp251 thing makes sense with only 3 outs on the Orb (unless you can control more things via midi ccs?) Given how compact functional it looks, I wish it was cheaper..

What ever do you mean? It would be perfectly balanced if everyone that liked something posted while the side that didn't or had mixed feelings stayed quiet. Wait what?

I think what stab meant to say was "I hate you bastards. All of you. All the time. Bastards."

I just wish I could get hold of one in the uk now.
A hold of what - A Mobius or an Orb?
F-R has a UK distributor called Analogue Addiction, there was a website, but it seems to have gone down
and eventually disappeared!
Yeah the orb, I already have a mobius and use it quite alot so I think I would get a lot of mileage out of the orb.
Like you said the suppliers site is down so I'll just have to keep an eye out and hope something else does not catch my eye.

Yeah, seeing that picture, as long as these are blatantly marketed as XS-ories people will be cool with them. This could definitely end up being FR's equivalent of Mooger Foogers, a bunch of cool modules that happen to look really sexy together.

I'd still prefer a Revo or a Mobius, but a unified line is definitely hot. If I was Jered I might've gone with a CP-251 type thing first, but with the Mobius discontinued I can see the Orb making sense (price point aside), just wish it kept the different outs so I can lust even more after an MS-20.

Had to leave a clause in there I'm afraid. Anything can happen.

Better luck next time I guess...#-o

Jesus... it does look great. Since getting the XS last Saturday I've been using Live to control it which is great fun but this could really open things up. I wonder what the odds of the price coming down a bit in the very near future are? Has anyone ordered one yet? Ya know you want to! JS, by your words it sounds like the Orb is tempting you.
