I made a slurry out of ground-up vacuum tubes and Courvoisier, put it in a pastry bag and piped it onto the insides of a MicroKorg, and now the thing is real analog! No more VA posing for me!
Seriously though, those end caps look pretty sharp (they'd look even nicer if the main part of the µKorg were more of a true brown and not that gross, old-lady-lingerie champagne color.) I was thinking of doing something similar with my Prophet 600. Although, instead of painting, I want to stain the end-caps red (with that bright primary-color wood stain, like you see on chairs in Mexican restaurants) to match the red display and LED's.
