You have the links flipped man but either way why would the person keep the listings up after they are sold? Either someone scored and the seller can't figure out delete or someone making it up trying to get the prices to go down.
Loads of stories like this. Lot's of tears shed.

What really kills you is when there is a CS-60 for $600 and it's legit, but you can't get it cause you don't have the money...

The TR is not legit. That's a scam. Haven't seen the axxe one.

i get some bargains on CL.
downloaded a Microsoft app called (what else?) cragigs list reader. lets you scan any or all listings at the same time.
searching for "for sale" ,"synthesizer", in all 50 states takes about 3 minutes and gives about 1600-1700 hits,

I was wondering when someone would write something like that. Is it scraping? I remember back in college a group did that as their senior project. I partially looked into it but haven't tried it.rhino wrote:i get some bargains on CL.

Re: you're killing me! (inexpensive sold craigslist gear)
naw, he claimed he was in London on business and would arrange to ship it to me. All I asked him was where the synth was and why he wanted 900 for it. He didn't answer either question, so obviously he's a tosser!Bitexion wrote:A $900 Andromeda should set off your scam alarmsHow did he try to do it? mafia style?

Was that on Austin Craigslist just a few months ago? I think I saw that listing a little while before I moved back here. I e-mailed a friend about it, but I guess he didn't have the money either.Zonkout wrote:Roland SH-1 = $400

Yep, that's the one. I called and left the girl selling it several messages, but never heard back. Guess Zonk beat me to it.
Re: you're killing me! (inexpensive sold craigslist gear)
Was it located in Canada? I have that synth in my trunk if so. Needs a few things fixed, but it is still for sale. The seller doesn't really now much about shipping s**t, let alone synths.Zonkout wrote: Roland JX-3P = $200
