Add a $100 Hammond X-66 to my list. On top of everything, it was located twenty minutes away from where I lived up until three months ago. :(
Hammond RT-2, Hammond M3, Hammond L-102, Rhodes mk1 suitcase 88, Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, Yamaha TX-802, Fender Twin Reverb, Leslie 45

Synths are few and far between in my neck of the woods. When good deals do pop-up, they usually aren't snatched up too quickly either. The only local deal that I'm sore about missing our on was an Arp Omni in good shape and supposedly working fine for $100. Not a lot of competition around here so I usually am able to get the good deals if I want 'em. A few of my local finds:
Poly 800 - $50
DX7 - free
Alpha Juno - Free
D50 - $100
FR Revolution $250
SH-3 - $250
FS1R, Pulse, JV-1080(w/card), K3M and some midi breakout boxes for $400 total...

So I guess I can't complain too much but unfortunately, aside from the SH-3, I rarely find anything that I want to keep around very long. Of course it all helps to fund purchases I do want.

Edit: I sorta regret not picking up the JP-6 for $850 a few months back. The guy ended up having to sell it on ebay since there was no local interest.

Not a Craigslist but a recent Recycler ad had someone selling a Jupiter 8 for $950. So I call this person and he precedes with "Oh, that was a typo..." So I'm like, I don't care if the ad was missing a one at the front do you still have it?!?! "... yeah, it was supposed to say 1950 but I sold it the other day." Nice. Oh well.

when did they skyrocket in price (and what are they going for these days?)? about 3 years ago i had a chance to buy a fully serviced one from a shop for $2k--and almost did, though it would've f**k up my finances for a good while...or so i thought--now i see it would've been a great investment (though of course i never would've actually sold it!)

that linndrum was tough...

back in the glory days... like 2-4 years ago there weren't nearly as many CL Synth Hawks... you could get way crazy deals. Now there are tons of synth geeks searching everywhere, I know because people from all over the US respond to my ads and when you email someone about a good deal on a synth it's usually gone. you really gotta respond to an ad moments after it's been posted. I used to work from home in portland, OR and would check all day long and grab every good deal that popped up. The deals started drying up in the last year and I had to stop checking CL because it became a total time waster.

though I just got a P5 + keytar last week on CL for $1200 :) needs a little servicing but still. The guy had listed an xpander for $1100 and I was too late, then he was like well I do have a P5... jaw drops... Swear I only got the deal because I sold my little phatty for $500 and a fender jazz for $450 the previous week cuz I was moving, I swear it was Karmuhhhh bro!

still there will always be random dudes with jupiter 4s and 808s in their closet who have no idea, but still not like the glory days...

BTW that 909 in seattle was real, someone listed it the next day on ebay for $1500 buy now...

FYI there are tons of fake 808 and 909 ads all over the country on CL, you can tell because the location is "US" like come on I thought Chicago was in Mexico.

You might find someone honest willing to ship but craigslist is mostly for local deals.
