I haven't done it myself, but tons of people are advertising it on ebay and apparently it's real! Only works with buy it nows and I think there is a $2500 limit, still...

you have to search ebay using the livesearch browser, if you really want to do it research away.

I've been using it and advertising it on my auctions. I just bought a P'08 with a 10% ebay coupon and the 25% live.com promo (saved $300! [the 10% tops out at $100 and the 25% at $200 for a single purchase]). The "catch" is that you don't get your cash back for 60 days. Also you can only use it on "Buy it now" auctions and you have to have a paypal account. Really it is ridiculous to not take advantage of it, especially if you're already buying something off of ebay.

So how does one find the $25 off synth deals? I looked on livesearch, but when it shows a link to ebay, nothing actually comes up showing the [potential discount.

Go to live.com. Search for electronics. You'll see an "ad" at the top that says something like "25% off ebay, live Cash Back". Click on that and it takes you to ebay. You'll see a little green bar thing at the top of you ebay screen that says 25% live blah blah. Just search for whatever you want. It should work on the vast majority of ebay auctions that are "buy it now" via paypal. When you hit buy it now it will show you how much you should be saving which will be 25% up to $200 of the BIN price. You can see this before you commit to buy. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Wow, I just checked and it went up to 30% for ebay!
