What about from real life? I was wondering if they had some sort of texture like the VCI-100 overlay DJTech Tools sells.

Too much information JS...making beats while you beat your meat? 4 knuckle loops that never deliver explains a lot.

feels nice and natural to me, and you'd have to look very close to see it's not the actual print on the machine itself. when standing over it playing/programming, it looks like it came like that from the factory. it's a bit more smooth to the touch compared to the original esx (as the faceplate had some linear texture than could easily be felt on the fingertips), but overall, it's good :)

and.. buttplug? haha, never thought of it like that before tallow :D ikea "spoka" series, the pictures don't do justice, they glow nicely when dark and is just the amount of ligh needed to see the controls at night with lights turned off, like a lavalamp, just a lot smaller :)

Retro-themed skin ideas for my MPD. Who wouldn't want to make beats on (or should I say in) the Tardis?
While traveling across the universe of course.

TOUCHDOWN
the real thing arrived yesterday....

for 40 bucks, i guess it's better to not expect very much, so all in all a 7/10

odd that some of the 'glow' lettering doesn't fit around the OSC and FX section on EMX :?
it also would be much easier to apply if the vinyl were a couple of Mils thicker. It stretches along button gaps too readily when repositioning. i'm afraid it may tear with any scratching, as well - just replacing the screws caused some 'pinwheel' stretching around the holes. it really does need to be thicker to inspire confidence, imho.

they also failed to follow up w/ my special instructions to match text to color as specified, so be aware.

nice :) I think it sits fine on my ESX, but I agree it could be done better, then again, 40$ aint that much..

I want to pimp my KP3 as well, but the offer for that one is just silly, I mean, it doesn't cover the entire surface, which is just stupid...

post your entire setup in the pics thread :D
