As if that weren't enough, they could be set to repeat their attack through decay phases! =D>

Give me a 16 track monomachine / machinedrum / jomox 888 style synth / , analog + digital synthesis can be used with all 16 tracks, analog filters and VCAs, built in (but high-quality) effects like reverb, compression, delays, bit decimation, etc can be used independently on all tracks, sampling, x0x style sequencer buttons / sequencer, and MPC pads on it...with individual outs... and put it in a box the size of an old akai MPC.

sounds like the new LINNDRUM, well pretty damn close to it.

I don't have a dream synth, i just want a EMS Synthi-AKS, to make bleepy farty-arty noises all day long.

it would be something like an 8 voice poly evolver with a 16 track midi sequencer - realtime and x0x style recording, user sampling, an ms20 style patchbay that is hz/v and v/oct compatible and a f**k internal power supply!

My dream synth would just be a 12 voice VCO driven Jupiter 8 with a 4 track analog sequencer built in. 8) :D

I'd say something along the lines of the Old School Voyager but stripped down, like a budget monosynth for the new millennium. No MIDI, no memory, no dual filters, just a modern version of the Moog Prodigy. 2 VCO's, 2 ASDR envelopes, a filter, knob per function, 3-octave keyboard, etc. But unde $1000. I know it can be done.

i would just buy a Prodigy, they're under $1k and sound better than the Old School:

True...but the Prodigy lacks S/H, noise, 2 full ADSR envelopes and 25+ years of being beaten around.

- One of those big Moog modulars

Newer synths...

- Dave Smith Instruments Prophet o8

I'd like something that was a cross between the Nord G2, Andromeda A6, Prophet VS, Microwave and Sequentix P3, so with the small form, modularity and endless rotary encoders of the G2, the analogue 'sound', ribbon and seamless patch changing of the A6 plus the vector synthesis of the VS, with sampling for user waves, wavetables from the Microwave, with the sequence modules upgraded to the P3 spec and all patched via a multi-touch graphic interface that can be removed when not needed
mostly enjoying adventures in sound :)

I'd have to go for a Yamaha CS-80... the only change I'd make would be to make it a few tons lighter!

ANA-ONE's front and rear panel. Please note the modulation routings in each module:
