hi people....would like any advise/tips on the subject...
funk bands of the time used it a lot to get expressive sounds from there equipment.
were they using specific synths for this...thanks for any replys.

Please provide some examples of "warble" like a link to a YouTube video and a notation of the time in which the warble takes affect using m:ss so we can better assist you.
Other than assigning a LFO to pitch, filter or amplifier, I'm not sure what affect you're looking for.

It is called modulation. If you knew how to read, you would realize that you can assign an LFO to many destinations to achieve sounds like this.
