A bit expensive, though...
Expensive? It is a boutique analog BD with Midi. It is a steal if you need an analog BD.

I personally think everyone should have a Jomox Mbase. Sampled kicks don't do it and the Elektron is good at a lot of things, but sounds best with a Mbase. That's a good price btw.

I'm curious, particularly with the new metallic-attack parameter, whether the 11 can make weird, non-bass-drum kind of tones?

The demos only, (and rightly so), focus on the bass drum capability, and I know it can do some bass guitar tones, but, if it could get weird, for the price, it might also make a good auxilliary percussion module.

Maybe if Jurgen added a ring mod and a nice BBD delay to this module..... ( I know, $$$$$)

That must be a mistake IB... they say 1/4" RCA... I think they meant just 1/4" out. The 01 had a 1/4" out.

So I thought I would be buying one of these as soon as the came out, but looking at the mbase-01 used for $200 or so compared to a new $369 mbase-11 I just can't do it...

Has anyone bought an 11 yet? Wish he would have added an analog distortion or overdrive to the 11...

Well they both have harmonics right? That is similar to mild distortion to my ears.
