Looks cool. Like a mini-XS, but probably doesn't sound as awesome. There isn't that much you can do with 1 osc, 1 filter, 1 env and 2 lfos, but they probably figure they'll get you hooked on their modular crack so it won't matter for long... :D

Well, the TB-303 seems to be a big hit and that is one osc. Things like the SH-09 and SH-101 are still selling strong. I think one osc synths are loved for their simplicity. However, your modular theory is probably right as well.

I like the idea of a lot of these semi modular pieces on the market...the more the better..it looks like a really fun little box to pair w/ one of the MD Midi Machines to me...

Looks cool. It would be nice if they let you order it with different filter options instead of the "standard" 24 db lowpass.

Looks kinda cool. I can see this being a "buddy" to another synth... esp one with CVs... and semi-mod capabilities. Like to hear a demo

Looks like an updated MS404, same sort of spec - 1 osc, 2 LFOs ,1 filter, 1 ADSR, 1 VCA. Range switches on the LFOs. Yep, very similar.

I think that looks sweet... There are a few similar units out there-AS black coffee, Cwejman's stand alone VCO/VCF/VCA module, but both and more expensive (and the cwejman needs to be part of a larger system). While this one has a few less features than the black coffee (such as sync, cross-mod), you get a full envelope and an extra LFO for whatever that's worth. Even with just the few ins and outs they give you, you've got a pretty dope monosynth.
Do you even post on vse bro?

Yes, I think this will be successful.

Seems like a cool little entry system into the modular world and it looks like it will fit in a normal modular case so it could be an basic starting point. If it is $300 euros (roughly $407) it seems like a good deal considering what the individual modules would cost. You could buy 3 of these for less than the cost of the XS. Now what would be really interesting is if they made more modules like this. Something like the moog CP-251 would be cool, and a filterbank with 2 or 3 of their filters.

The page linked in the first post says it'll be 400 euros.

I think it is cool stand alone... I'm not interested in modulars, but I am interested in small analog synths with midi.
