The Moog Voyager has a CV input for volume. You could use the VX351 and input the Voyager's own LFO into it, as well as any other CV source.

this is the way

you shall never regret

$350 is a steal for all those modules...for it is indeed the BOMB. this turns LP into a bad-a*s little quasi-modular spitfire, especially w/ addition of moogerfooger RingMod and some fine analog delay.

You can´t retrigger the lfo as you would on an internal lfo...

This is true, but since the LP doesn't have an LFO delay is it really that important? I suppose if you are looking to sync the LFO to MIDI then an internal LFO would be much more desirable.

By the contrary, a midi-sync´ed lfo would be the same as a volume automated (??) on a daw (as long as you draw the automation "in sync" with the music, that is), as the phase goes beyond how/when you trigger the keys (with the exception of the Andromeda, in which it´s optional). I don´t remember if the LP has a phase-sync lfo function, but in that case it would be very difficult and laborious to simulate with automation in some circumstances.
You´re right, the delay would be anothe case in which the internal lfo would be hard to replace.
