Doepfer Dark Energy

So i've been looking at pictures of this the Dark Energy, reading what little info there is, and trying to hear the sound in that crappy Musikmesse youtube video. Basically I was seeing if anyone had any inside info or special knowledge of this thing. It sounds really interesting and if it lives up to the hype i've created in my own head about it, I was thinking of getting it.

Well it does look pretty. It's a pity the signal path is pre-patched and that there are so few sockets on the thing.
I feel more tempted to consider the module version, A-115-5. Especially since it's a lot cheaper than the Cwejman VM-1.

I would place one in a new hard case (module version). With the wood ends...not so much.
