Very, very good to know. One of my all time favorite bands. My P-5 is on the way, can't wait to get it here.

And yes, that sample did sound very much like BoC. Good job!

looks like I stumbled upon a Prophet 10 I'm picking up over the weekend :D

I guess... suppose... I might be able to make a least one or two fat sounds with it...

real nice BOC style pads there hfinn you just need to drop the super mellow sampled beat in there and you're good to go!

I have an entire bank of sounds that I programed that are just mellow weird sounds like that. I love it.
nice. i love that type of sounds, using filter in near self-osc as another oscillator. and tuned an 5th or so above. prophet is phenomenal for quirky weird sounds.

Oh boy, a 10!!!! That's got to be the ultimate in polyphonic analog, especially if it *works.* Let us know how the monster turns out. LOL!

So I got the p10! I gotta say I think it sounds a little different than the P5 rev 3s I've owned. Doesn't sound as metallic...

turns out it has a dead voice, thank god I'm blocks away from the best sequential tech around.

I'm not at all underwhelmed by the P10 it's megaphatt! :D

It should sound pretty much exactly the same. There are two P5 boards in tandem inside. There are some feature differences between them though. For one thing, the P-10 loses noise as a LFO source, but the P-10 adds a drone button (and three band EQ). Makes me wonder if your P5 you owned needed a calibration.... :)

This being said, I have both a P5 and a P10 and I can say that although they sound the same I approach them differently. The P5 is easier to just turn on and go, whereas the P10 has the sequencer and you can do far more layers (compared to none on the P5)

haha well, I'm comparing it to the last two I owned which were both rev 3.0 and 3.3 and calibrated... I swear it sounds a little bit different buy I could be totally wrong.

once I get the dead voice fixed this thing will be awesome! It's gonna be a b***h to sell... so huge i don't think I wanna ship it, I might actually hang on to it for awhile. :D

I'm gonna have to make some 10voice unison sawtooth sportsbar trance for sure.

If you do sell it I know someone who may be interested in it. They are on this coast though. They may be interested even with the dead voice.

The P10 outputs are in stereo, P5 mono. I find the P10 to sound fuller/fatter.
