About 95% of the software synthesizers I've purchased over the years.

The RX-5 hasn't seen a whole lot of action recently, or at all really. It has some great editing capabilities, the drum sounds just aren't that great (and the step programming is tedious). But it's not valuable enough to be worth to trouble of selling, and I'm not especially short on space at the moment.

I think I'll yet find a use for it. I was just thinking the other day that it might be cool to assign the clap sound to 12 separate pads and set them all to different pitches, use some of the individual outs to run some of them through some delays, et cetera. Having a big giant clap machine might be fun.

I have a collection of (cheap-ish) drum machines that I have pretty much relegated to "collection" status.. But that's kind of the point.
Do you even post on vse bro?

Funny enough, I was going to put that too... despite spending some good cash on softsynths this year I haven't got round to using them in anger... in fact, on the whole, I was a lot more productive with a microkorg sitting in front of me than most other stuff I've had. Although I do find my SH09 quite addictive!

I use all of them (hardware). Sometimes three or four months may go by but I never leave them alone for all that long.

As others have mentioned, software synths are another matter. There's still one or two I use from time to time but mostly, they're left alone.

Everything in my list but the JP-4. I've got too much on my plate as of late.

Everything I have gets used (eventually)..the one that sees the least use is the micro mod.

Up until a month ago, it was the K5m, because the display backlight was gone and without it the display is unreadable. But I finally fixed that, so I've actually been playing it a lot.

For me, it's the TX7. I have it in case I need it, but so far the need hasn't come around. I'd also say my Poly-800 except that a few months ago I was working on a song and had a sound in my head for the the track I was about to start, and instantly knew that the Poly was THE synth to go to. Other than that, she's usually pretty lonely.

definitely the Juno-106. the SCI Pro One is also left in the dust, it's a shame but if i want a monosynth, i reach for the moogs or program monophonic patches into the Xpander.

Nothing, like JS I don't see the point of just collecting synths I'm not going to use. But then again I have synths for making music not for impressing people on teh internets. ;)

Same as Stabbers and JS - if it doesn't get used, it gets sold.
I didn't get where I am today by posting on internet forums.

JP4 - shocking I know! And I've got one of those Czech MIDI interfaces to fit to it.

SCI P2000 and P2002 - lack of room, they're in storage

Casio HT700, Siel EX80, C64 with MSSIAH - ditto

Roland TR505...actually I have used it recently but it gathers dust for months at a time.

Software I bought that's going unused: Acid, Cubase
I listened to Hatfield and the North at Rainbow. They were very wonderful and they made my heart a prisoner.

I'm with y'all. I don't have the space, the money or the inclination to have gear for the sake of having it. If I'm not using it then away it goes.
