Probably the Space Echo. Plus, it's the only piece of equipment I own that has a knob that goes to 11.
All the rest are dated between 1978 and 1993.

The oldest bit of kit i own is my prodigy
mine is one with the external controls
they started selling those in '81, and im guessing out of the 11,000! moog produced, mine is probably one of the '83 '84 models as it as a 5 digit serial number, so it gets younger as i learn more about it haha. still older than i am though

mine is one with the external controls

Still my Casio CZ-5000!
The Andromeda has taken over in the Analogue department and killed my lust for vintage Analogues completely. I guess i don't deserve this name anymore.
To be fair it's not just that though, im in 2 bands now and have settled on reliable equipment for gigs (which i do lots of). Aside from the Andy i have cracked FM on my DX's and love em and still enjoy the unique CZ sound. Still loving the Wavestation and M1 too. My live setup is the RD700SX and Andromeda. The Andy does killer CS80 emulations in my Bruce Springsteen tribute band haha.

Right now it's probably my JV-2080, built in June 1997. :/
Nothing vintage anymore, I'm afraid.

Re: What is the Oldest Piece of Gear in Your Studio?
That would be my VL-1. I don't know exactly when it was made, but it is a MK2 (the one whose speaker grill is circular-shaped) so it has to be around 1981-1982. Quite a bit older than me
It needs servicing though, and I'd like to recap it as most caps seem close to be failing.

The Elka Capri Jr. (as well as the identical Panther 2100) was produced from '69/'70 onwards.hugsnballoons wrote:Elka Capri jr. maybe pre 1965

Re: What is the Oldest Piece of Gear in Your Studio?
The oldest thing in my studio sadly is me
But as for synths, I guess it would be my Nord Lead 2 and Supernova II Pro X
Most everything I own is only about 10 years old or less.
