Sorry if this has already been covered elsewhere. This was definitely the first I had seen/read about it:

Endless rotaries never bothered me too much, but I did find them pretty wobbly, which turned me off when I tried it in the store. Maybe the shafts on this version will be more robust. I'd be willing to give it another look.
