Man, this is tougher than I thought it would be. I think I've made up my mind though.

V-Synth -> Yacht. The V-Synth doesn't float, and it's not getting me as many chicks as I thought it would. Time for a change.

MEK -> Dinosaur. Definitely a meat eater, probably an allosaurus. T rexes are overrated IMO, I want something different, but that can still give me that cutting brutal thing that the MEK does.

XL-7 -> Steak sandwich. I'm pretty hungry, it's nearly lunch time.

Juno-6 -> Trip to see the pyramids in Egypt. I've always wanted to go.

YC-25D -> An old tube radio that only picks up AM. Pretty much a straight swap there.

I predict that by the time the MEK is extinct dinosaurs will once again be roaming the earth.

Nice thread gnasher!

Synths:
Yamaha SK-20 = Korg Delta + combo organ (I'll take your YC-25D Stab Frenzy!)
Yamaha CS-5 = i'd probably upgrade to a CS-10 or CS-15
Roland SH-2000 = any other mono presets of that time would do i guess.

Effects:
Boss RC-20 = Digitech Jam Man
Line 6 echo park = Line 6 DL4
EHX Big Muff Pi (Sovtek) = EHX Big Muff Pi (Sovtek) they just can't be replaced with anything else.
Effector 13 Punch Love = Fulltone OCD
Dunlop TVP-1 = Empress Tremolo + Ernie Ball volume

Guitars:

My 1980 Hagstrom Super Swede and 1979 Ibanez ST-1200BS are too distinct and scarce, their irreplaceable, i would just die if i'd loose them.

Yamaha DX7 -> Yamaha DX5. But I really hope for a modern FM keyboard from Yamaha to come.

If my whole setup suddenly broke.. that would be some f**k up s**t! id probably blame some poor soul an most likely throttle them.
IF! i was to replace it all then id try a new setup not regarding the price..

Korg EA1 / ER1 - ..i'd get another EA1 or to replace both, Quasimidi rave-o-lution 309..
Korg kaossilator / Mini kp - ..replacing both, Korg kaossilator pro
Korg MS2000BR - MS2000B, should of bought it in the first place / Virus K / Virus KB..
Roland MC505 - well..
Roland D110 - Red sound elevata
Roland SH101 - SH2
..this is harder than i though, but i'll soldier on..
Akai S1000 - definitely replace it / E-mu ESI-4000
Emu orbit 9090 v2 - ..i'd get another / Emu planet phatt
Moog prodigy - Moog rogue / Sequential circuits pro one
Clavia nord 3 - Alesis andromeda A6 / Oberheim OB12 / Waldorf microwave XTk..
Novation bass station - ..get another / K station

i not the one for making a wish list but IF it was all to go then i'd be quite happy to see the alternative.

I built most of my setup (mfos soundlab, midibox SID) so I guess I'd sigh and get the soldering iron back out...
